David Jiminian

David Jiminian was the lone offensive bright spot for the Seminoles picking up a Double, Triple and driving in 4 of the 8 runs the Noles would score.  With no pitching left, Jiminian also made this start 3 hours after pitching 8 innings earlier in the day and struck out 7 in 5 innings.

David Jiminian, making his first start of the year, pitched as if it was mid-season.  Jiminian pitched 8 innings allowing only 7 hits, 3 un-earned runs, walked 2, and struck out 10.

Victor Catano

Victor Catano continued his consistent play picking up another 2 hits.  Catano Singled, Tripled, walked, scored 2 runs, and drove in 5 in the contest.

Lou Colon

Lou Colon has been swinging a hot stick.  In this game, Colon struck for 3 more hits, including a Triple, scored 2 runs, and drove in another run.

Jose Ferreira

Jose Ferreira led the Seminoles with 3 runs batted in.  Ferreira picked up a Single, Sac Fly, Scored 2 runs, and drove in 3.

Nephty Cruz

 

Nephty Cruz continues to roll as he picked up another 2 extra base hits, and 3 more runs batted in.

Ray Arias

 

Ray Arias came out swinging as he picked up 3 hits on the day including a long triple.  Arias scored 2 runs and drove in 2 runs.

Chris Berretta

Chris Berretta got the call and was great.  Berretta pitched 6.2 innings, allowing 7 hits and 4 earned runs on 4 walks and struck out 8 batters.  With the exception of 1 inning, Berretta was un-hittable.

Nephty Cruz

Injured Nephty Cruz continued to find ways to contribute to the team and help them win.  With a fracture in his foot and 2 bad knees, Cruz picked up 3 hits, including a Long Home Run, and drove in 3 runs to lead the Noles to a 10-5 victory.

Joe "RP" Alvarez

Joe Alvarez's hot streak continued.  Alvarez picked up another 3 hits, all singles, a walk, RBI, scored 3 runs, and stole 4 bases on the afternoon.  Joe also came in to pitch the final 1.1 innings and pick up the save.

Ray Arias

Ray Arias completed a great afternoon by collect 3 more hits (2 Singles, and a double), and 5 RBI in the game.  When the team was down, Arias came through to kept the Seminoles in the game

Joe "RP" Alvarez

Joe Alvarez was unstoppable!  Alvarez collected 3 hits, 2 singles and a double, was hit by a pitch, scored 3 runs, and stole a base.  Joe also made a number of great plays in the field to keep the Noles in the game.

Joel Arroyo

With the Noles down 8-5, Joel Arroyo came in to relieve his brother Jose.  After pitching 5 innings in the opening game, Joel pitched another 3.1 solid innings giving the Noles a chance to win the game.  Arroyo allowed only 2 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 1 in his 3.1 innings of work.

Ray Arias got the Seminoles going in the first inning with a long 2 RBI Double.  Arias would add a single later in the game and finish 2 for 5.

Lou Colon

Lou Colon came out like a house of fire.  Colon collected 2 hits, 2 walks, scored 2 runs, and stole a base in the Seminoles 12-1 victory.

Joel Arroyo

Joel Arroyo, who was supposed to make the start, can in to pitch the final 5 innings and was dominant.  Arroyo allowed 3 hits, no earned runs, while walking 3 and striking out 5 in his 5 innings of work.
