Domination Continues They NY/NJ White Sox continued their domination of the Lou Gehrig League with a 12-2 blowout of the Englewood Marauders. Both teams were sloppy in the field, but the Sox took full advantage of ALL the Marauder mistakes. David Jiminian made the start and did not have his best stuff. Even without his best stuff, Jiminian posted a complete game, allowing 4 hits, 0 Earned Runs, 2 Walks, and 8 Strike Outs. The Sox didnt post many hits on the board, but will all the errors, and walks, they didnt need it. With the score 5-2 in the 5th inning, the Sox blew the doors open with 7 runs in 1/3rd of an inning. After a HB, a walk, and a fielders choice, Joey Baggs added a 2RBI Single, RBI Single by Upchurch, 2RBI Single by Leyner, RBI BB by Wasserman, and a Game Ending RBI FC by Williams. NOTE:
David Jiminian improves his lifetime stats vs. the
Marauders to 8-0 with an ERA of 0.56. Jiminian
has 84 strike outs in 64.1 innings against the Mob. |
