The NY/NJ White Sox defeated the NJ Braves by the score of 8-3 (9-0 due to a forfeit in the top of the 5th inning)... Juan Williams was on the mound and dominated the Braves thru the first 4 innings, allowing only a walk to the leadoff batter in the 4th inning (retired the first 10 batters to face him)... Fielding lapses led to a long top of the 5th inning where the Braves would push across 3 runs. With 2 outs, the game was called, and the Sox got the win... Williams finished with 4.2 innings pitched, 2 hits allowed, 1 earned run, 1 walk, and 6 strikeouts...
