Jiminian Strikes Out 16, Williams Leads Offense...
The NY/NJ White Sox (12-2-1) defeated the Parsippany
Brewers (12-2) by the score of 4-3. The win puts them in a 1st place tie with
the Saddle River Yankees in the Lou Gehrig Division, going into their match up
tomorrow. The story of the game was David Jiminian (7IP, 3H, 1ER, 3BB, 16K's) as
he struck out 16 batters. With the 16 strike outs, Jiminian now has 90, and the
1 run allowed raised his league leading ERA to 0.53 on the season.
The offense was led by Juan William, who reached base every at bat, collecting 3
hits, and 3 RBI. Jiminian collected 2 hits (Single, Triple, R), DeJesus RBI
Single, Morales-Mercado-Sencion and Guzman each collected a hit a piece.
Next up for the Sox (12-2-1) is the Saddle River Yankees (12-2-1) on Saturday.
This will be the first meeting since their 16 inning 4-4 tie in game 1 of the
