Cruz Powers Sox past Marauders...

The NY/NJ White Sox imporved to 7-1 as they defeated the Englewood Marauders by the score of 12-3. Randy Shupe (7IP, 6H, 2ER, 3BB, 7K) was dominant on the mound. Adam Light made his first appearance on the mound (1IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 2K) and was solid. David Jiminian also made his first appearance of the year (1IP, 1H, 0R, 1BB, 1K).

The story of the game was Nephty Cruz. Cruz powered the Sox past the Marauders going 4 for 5 with 3 Double, and 7 Runs Batted In. Juan Williams also had a game going 4 for 5 with 3 Singles, a double, and an RBI. Jiminian came through with a 2 run Double. Adam Light also had an RBI Double. Lou Colon collected 2 hits and scored 2 runs. Victor Catano and Jose Ferreira colleced a hit a piece. And Sal Nicosia collected a hit, and came home on a Wild Pitch!!
