O'Brien shines as Alvarez and Cruz lifts Sox

After a humiliating defeat the night before to the Knights, the NY/NJ White Sox rebounded with their best performance of the Fall.
Sean O'Brien (CG, 8 SO's, 3 hits, 0 ER) was lights out in his Sox pitching debut. The offense was powered by Joe Alvarez (2-2, SB, 3 runs, 2 BB, RBI) and Nephty Cruz (1-1, double, R, 2 BB, Sac Fly, 2 RBI). As the Sox brought 9 batters to the plate in the first inning with timely hitting and a couple of errors by the Yankees. The Sox jumped on the Yankees early scoring 4 in the 1st inning, then 2 in the 2nd, 3 in the 4th, and 2 in the 5th.
